When someone dies, the administration that follows can feel as overwhelming as the grief itself. Registering the death, knowing who to notify, understanding probate, dealing with finances and closing accounts can leave families unsure of where to begin.
Most people are never taught how to manage these responsibilities until they are forced to learn during an already difficult time.
This free community session was run to help change that.
Through our CIC arm, HMA Wellbeing & Support CIC, we partnered with North London Hospice to provide clear, practical and compassionate guidance from the team behind Handle My Affairs.
Attendees left with a clearer understanding of the steps that may need to be taken, who to contact and where to find further support.
